Job Summary: The Site Manager will be responsible for the overall management of solar installation sites, coordinating all activities, resources, and stakeholders. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is carried out safely and efficiently.
- Manage site teams, including subcontractors and laborers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring milestones are met and addressing any issues that arise.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align project objectives and timelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, safety records, and project progress updates.
- Manage inventory and ensure that materials and equipment are available and in good condition.
- Facilitate training and development for site personnel on safety protocols and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in site management, preferably in the renewable energy or construction sectors.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and project management principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
