Job Summary: The Civil Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and analyzing civil structures related to solar energy projects. This role involves collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the integrity, safety, and sustainability of all designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop civil engineering plans, including site layouts, grading, drainage, and foundations for solar installations.
• Conduct site assessments and geotechnical investigations to inform design decisions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, electrical engineers, and environmental specialists to integrate civil designs with overall project objectives.
• Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including reports, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Review and approve contractor submittals and shop drawings related to civil works.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on the latest civil engineering technologies and sustainable design practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in civil design, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP2000).
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
